Richard Webster

Senior Post-doctoral Research Scientist

I joined the research group of Prof Beeson in 2000 after the completion of my PhD from the University of London. I’m interested in the functional analysis of neuromuscular transmission from the whole animal to the single channel. I am a senior electrophysiologist with expertise in many aspects of measuring neurotransmission. Our goal is to understand the molecular mechanisms that enable neuromuscular transmission and to determine what underlies the pathophysiology seen in patients with Congenital Myasthenic Syndromes.
