MERSCOPE (VIzgen)
Spatially resolved transcriptomic imaging technologies such as Vizgen’s MERSCOPE TM platform allows massively multiplexed single-cell measurement in situ. Using Vizgen’s MERSCOPE Protein Stain Kits, researchers can detect hundreds to thousands of RNA species with up to 6 proteins simultaneously (protein co-staining). Equipment:

Visium (10x Genomics)
Visium HD Spatial Gene Expression combines the power of single cell sequencing with spatial capture technology. Visium HD is a single cell scale, high resolution, CytAssist-enabled, whole transcriptome probe-based assay compatible with mouse or human FFPE tissue sections placed on glass slides. Visium Spatial Gene Expression is compatible with fresh frozen (FF) tissue sections from any species. This assay utilizes poly(A) capture and novel spatial barcoding technology for library preparation. Equipment:

Xenium (10x Genomics)
Xenium in situ platform data provide extremely high-resolution single-cell information with spatial localization from a targeted panel of genes. It uses a padlock probe rolling circle amplification chemistry. This allows the recognition of short or highly degraded transcripts (i.e. FFPE) without requiring a large number of probes per gene. Equipment:
