Research Assistant in Gene Regulation

POINT-seq

I completed my Masters at the University of Sussex and have an interest in the basic biology of gene regulation.

I'm currently working on optimising a novel technique called POINT-seq, which extracts nascent RNA from chromatin. Using both wet lab techniques and computational sciences to extract RNA data, this information validates heterozygous MCC interactions and helps us understand more about alternative splicing and nonsense-mediated decay.
