His Majesty the King of Thailand has graciously conferred the royal decoration of Knight Grand Cross (First Class) of the Most Admirable Order of the Direkgunabhorn to Professor Sir David Weatherall for his support to the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation for many years.
The conferring ceremony will be performed by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirrindhorn on behalf of HM the King at the end of October.
