Head of IT and Research Computing
As Head of IT for the WIMM, I lead the WIMM IT team that:
- Provides IT Support for desktops and laptops purchased and maintained by the WIMM
- Runs the CCB High-Performance Cluster (HPC)
- Manages the core IT infrastructure used at the WIMM such as networks including wifi, and centralised storage
- Manages the user accounts
- Provides advice and support for purchasing IT equipment and software
- Liaise with University and MSD-IT staff
- Offers more general IT advice and support where we can
