Funding Options
Most of our students, whether basic scientists or clinical fellows, are fully funded.
The Radcliffe Department of Medicine is able to offer a number of funded studentships which provide full funding at a generous level for basic scientists. Funded studentships cover the full fee liability and provide a stipend for the duration of the DPhil.
Applications for the MSc by Research in Medical Sciences received by 2 December will automatically be considered in the competition for funding if the applicant meets the eligibility criteria.
RDM Scholars Programme
Our flagship funding programme provides a number of fully-funded scholarships for doctoral and masters basic science students. The programme is open to any outstanding candidates. The RDM Scholars Programme is advertised each September for students who want to start the following October.
Black Academic Futures
The Radcliffe Department of Medicine is participating in Black Academic Futures via the Medical Sciences Division's guarantee of at least 10 places per year across its graduate programmes.
