Oxford Centre for Haematology launches the final Open Call for small research projects, with finance of up to £5000 available, funded by Oxford Biomedical Research Centre Haematology and Stem cells theme.
Applications are warmly invited from all involved in the University of Oxford and OUH Trust haematology clinical and research fields, including NHS allied health care professionals, NHS laboratory and clinical staff as well as post-doctoral researchers and Principal Investigators.
The aim of these awards is to pump-prime innovative research projects within experimental and/or clinical haematology settings such that preliminary work can be completed to inform an application for a larger, more substantial grant. Due to this being the final year of BRC Haematology funding, all research must be completed and finances spent by 31 March 2022.
To apply, simply fill in the online form, which includes questions about the aims, research plan, expected outputs, timeline and budget. The award(s) will be for any requested amount up to a maximum of £5,000 and may be used for staffing costs, consumables, or any other reasonable research costs that are required.
The Pump Priming awards panel will be chaired by Nikki Curry, and any questions can be emailed in advance of the closing date, Friday 15 October 2021.
