June 2023 - August 2024: Research assistant, Ian Chambers research group, Institute of Regeneration and Repair, Edinburgh
October 2024 - present: DPhil student, de Bruijn and Nerlov research groups, Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, Oxford
I graduated in stem cell biology at the University of Edinburgh in 2023.
I did my bachelor thesis in the Ian Chambers research group, at the Institute of Regeneration Repair, where I looked at the interaction mechanics of the SOX2 and NANOG proteins and the effects on mouse embryonic stem cell self-renewal.
I then stayed with the Chambers group as a research assistant until the end of summer 2024, where I further investigated the interaction of SOX2 and NANOG, as well as the interaction of NANOG and RNA polymerase 2.
In October 2024 I started a DPhil course at Weatherall with the de Bruijn and Nerlov research groups.
