Research Interests
My research focus is on understanding the characteristics and underlying mechanisms of co-inhibitory and co-stimulatory receptors on cancer-specific cytotoxic CD8+ T cells and how this could be manipulated for future cancer immunotherapies. Primarily, I am looking into:
1. Regulation, mechanism and spatial phenotype and distribution of transiently-expressing regulatory biomarkers (ie CD61, granulysin) of lung-resident antigen-specific CD8+ T cells
2. Spatial diversity, clonal expansion and immunophenotype of lung-residing antigen-specific CD8+ T cells in neoadjuvant versus non-treated NSCLC patients
3. Use of technological roles in immune evaluation in cancer immunology
