Laboratory Manager / MRC WIMM HTA PD
I graduated with an MSc in Microbiology from University of London in 2014. I then went on to work for the University of Oxford as a research assistant and then laboratory manager in the MRC TIDU department in the WIMM. I joined the WIMM Core Admin Team part-time in August 2023 as the WIMM HTA Person Designated. My focus involves making sure the institute is compliant with the Human Tissue Act (HTA) licence 12433 and Research Ethics Committee (REC) approvals.
Any queries regarding Human Tissue, REC approvals or sample movement, please do not hesitate to come and discuss it with me, my role is to support and make the process of working with Human Tissue at the WIMM more manageable for everyone.
