Funding awarded for new theatre-based community engagement project

Alison Kay and Anne Goriely, together with Minna Jeffery (St. Anne’s College) and Lisa Hinton (Nuffield Dept. of Primary Care Health Sciences), have won an award from the University of Oxford’s PCER Fund for a project called “Making it personal”, which will use theatre to explore public perception of a new form of genetic testing.

Davis Group receives Wellcome Discovery Award

Professor Simon Davis and Dr Mafalda Santos have won a 5-year award from the global charitable foundation Wellcome to fund a project titled “Small contacts, big decisions – early signal processing by T cells”. This has been awarded jointly with Professor Anna Lippert of the University of Würzburg.
