Professor Roger Patient has been awarded a prestigious Royal Society Research Merit Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution in developmental haematopoiesis.
Commenting on the award, he said, ‘I have been lucky enough to have worked with many talented people over the years. This award is a tribute to them.’
