Former DPhil Student

Engineering next-generation synthetic receptors

Toni was a DPhil (PhD) student in Prof Tudor Fulga's laboratory from 2014-2018. His main research interest revolved around harnessing the genome engineering technology CRISPR/Cas9 (i) to engineer a repertoire of highly programmable, mammalian-based, synthetic receptors and (ii) to investigate regulatory elements in the non-coding region (3’UTR) of mRNAs.
