My work focuses on understanding the roles of lipids in the initiation of the immune response in T-cells. To study this highly dynamic molecular event at the appropriate spatiotemporal scale, I apply advanced fluorescence-based techniques, such as super-resolution STED imaging and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS), spectral imaging with environment-sensitive molecular probes, etc.
