Guanlin Wang

postdoctoral researcher

I completed my PhD with Professor John Speakman at Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and University of Aberdeen. I was working on the mircoevolution of genes related metabolic traits (obesity/type 2 diabetes) to test the 'thrifty' gene hypothesis.

Currently I am a computational biologist with Professor Adam Mead and Dr. Supat Thongjuea. My main research interest is to better understand blood malignancies using single cell genomics.
