Guanlin Wang

PhD

Postdoctoral researcher

Techniques profiling single cells give us unprecedented opportunities to understand cellular heterogeneity delicately and design precise medicine for diseases. Currently I am a postdoctoral computational biologist with Professor Adam Mead and Dr. Supat Thongjuea. My main research interest is to get a better understanding of blood malignancies using single cell -omics techniques and develop new computational tools for single cell -omics analyses.

Before I came here, I completed my PhD with Professor John Speakman at Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and University of Aberdeen. My PhD project was on the mircoevolution of genes related metabolic traits (obesity/type 2 diabetes).
