Elise A Mahé

Research Assistant

I joined the group of Dr Benjamin Fairfax in July 2017 after a PhD at the Institute of Genetics and Development of Rennes (France).

My PhD work focused on understanding the dynamics of chromatin characteristics during enhancer activation in the context of cellular differentiation. Through this project I developed an expertise in the study of epigenetic modifications (DNA methylation and hydroxymethylation, histone modifications) as well as transcriptional regulation.

My role within the Fairfax team consists in providing research support for the group’s projects. I also organise and manage the daily running of the lab.
