MRC WIMM Public Engagement and Communications Officer

As the Public Engagement and Communications Officer at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, I am here to support our staff and students with their communications. I can help with drafting press releases, impact statements for grant applications, and developing/evaluating effective public engagement activities. I also maintain the institute’s website and manage the social media accounts.

I started this role in September 2021, having previously worked as the Access Assistant at Wadham College, Oxford. Before moving to Oxford, I worked as a Tour Manager and Science Presenter at Scitech Science Centre in Perth, Australia. I have a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from Durham University, a MSc in Reproductive and Developmental Biology from Imperial College London, and a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Western Australia.
