The Transgenics Core Facility is available to scientific groups within the WIMM, providing a specialist service for the generation of new mouse models, as well as all aspects of cryopreservation and re-derivation of established lines.
\n \n\n \n \nThe WIMM Flow Cytometry Facility is one of the largest and best equipped in Europe. It houses 8 high-end analysers and 5 cell sorters. The Facility\u2019s four full-time staff members can provide cell sorting services, with special expertise in single-cell sorting. Training is offered for self-operation of cell analysers and advice can be given on all aspects of instrument setup, operation and data analysis.
\n \n\n \n \nThe WIMM Genome Engineering Facility is a central service open to the Oxford research community. We assist researchers in the experimental planning and the assembly of reagents for the generation of tailor-made experimental model systems. We are highly experienced in the generation of engineered immortalized cell lines, primary cells and stem cells of different origins, and provide a service platform for the generation of transgenic animal models.
