Dr Jakobsen, a Clinical Research Fellow and DPhil student from the Vyas Group has received the award from the American Society of Hematology and the British Society of Haematology.

The award recorgnises the abstract titled 'Single-Cell Analysis of Human Clonal Hematopoiesis Identifies Distinct Impact of DNMT3A and TET2 mutations on Hematopoietic Differentiation'.

The ASH-BSH Abstract Achievement Award is an annual award granted to up to three British trainees who are the first-or-senior author and presenter of the most meritorious submitted abstracts.

Dr Jakobsen delivered the talk on the 12th December 2022 at the ASH Meeting and Exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana. The annual American Society of Hematology Meeting and Exposition is one of the largest biomedical conferences, showcasing cutting-edge research in haematology.
