Project: Experimental models of human leukaemia

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Scientist to join the research group of Professor Terry Rabbitts.  Funded by Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research the position is available for one year, with the possibility of extension dependent on additional funding.

The laboratory is located in the excellent environment of the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, which has outstanding core facilities and equipment. The work will focus on preclinical models of leukaemia and transcriptomes of cancer initiating cells through to overt cancer and their comparison to normal haematopoietic counterparts.

You will have a PhD in a biological subject with a strong interest in leukaemia biology and cancer initiation.  Previous experience in molecular biology, ES gene targeting and tissue culture with a positive attitude to collaborative work, are essential to the post.
